New look

The turban

Modern women started wearing turbans in the 20' when dancing all night was the new craze. The hair had to look good till dawn right? Right, bu then they didn't know the Super Strong hairspray (which is being used by Heidi Klum too :P). There was this oriental trend going on (Madelein Vionnet) back then and that's the story, morning glory :D. Voila, they thought. Why not wear a turban they said. And so they did. The trend became a fashion must in the 30' when the second world war was prepairing. Some governments even prohibited hairpins! All metals should be used for armament, that was their way of being rational. But women had to keep theirselves pretty even though the times weren't so fashion-friendly. No hairpins? Let's wear turbans. Yes, let's do.

School + Fashion

Since I'm putting so much effort in school work... I present you a few of the slides from my PP presentation about development of Haute-couture and how Prêt-à-Porter got "involved" and why...hmm... no text in bellow the pics, but the presentation was in french. I hope my teacher was pleased with my parler francais.

Geek

Ha! Now I understand why women are all upset when they are away from the bloggosphere for a week. So, pretty women, I've been studying like a true geek, I'm tired, yet satisfied!
Well, I'm not that satfsfied with the oh just 100 emails I've recieved...
I had big plans for tonight. I wanted to dance the night away and relax a bit but oh see, it's raining really bad and the mood is dooooown. Here is what I would wear, if I'd goe out and a few inspirations...

Like a black virgin

Well, this looked like it couldn't get more Madonna in real life. Of course that s not visible from the pictures. Ugh.

That was one disastrous night. Ljubljana was dead. And when I say dead I mean ZERO people.
Pff. Me and the bf went to bed at midnight. Of course I've spet an hour and a half dressing up.

I didn't know which pair of shoes I'll wear 'till the minute I left. Soo... everything looked enough trashy for this outfit :D so I took some pics, the last pair is new (!)...

Me and my mum had a "sports day" as we call it on Friday = Sushi, lingerie and shoes. My great mum bought me 2 pairs of shoes! Are you serious. The ones that are in my nr.1 bag pattern we're only 17 €! Cuz they were there since spring hehe... I was a bit stingy so this discout came handy :D ...
Ok, the black ones. You know when you say a pair of heels is comfy. Well when I put my feet in these...maaaan I had a feeling like I'm wearing flats. How is that posible. Don't care really.

Who am I?

Or let's put it in the future tense... :) I'm gonna be Madonna! Well, only for a night. Me and some friends are going to an Back to 80's party. Aaah, my first Halloween. Kind of excited.

18!

It's my bf's birthday today, so we went to a restaurant yesterday to celebrate .
Lovely day, I must say, except there were no busses so I had to walk for about 4 miles. Hooray! My feet is killing me, I threw the shoes away cuz I destroyed them but it doesn't matter cuz it's his 18th birthday :).

I would also like to send a Happy Birthday telepathically, of course :D, because he's in Plymouth to my friend Kurt turned 21 today :).

We're gonna party tonight :)
